As part of the double pre-wedding photo shoot series with Felicia and Ken, our beach session in Malaysia was followed by a second destination wedding photo shoot on the island of Koh Samui in Thailand.
Since the bride-to-be loves waterfalls, this location was our top favorite from the start. Did I mention that I love spectacular natural scenery, especially in the tropics? :)
Early in the morning and still slightly sleepy, we set off from the hotel together. Photo shoots at sunrise take some effort to get up at unusual times – but I can guarantee it’s absolutely worth it EVERY TIME :)
At the location, we first had to climb a small hiking trail up to the waterfall – much more bearable in the cool morning air than in midday heat (another plus for morning shoots!). And this way we were also able to avoid the masses of day tourists and picnickers, who only gradually trundle in during the course of the day. Now we had the dream scenery all to ourselves.
The shooting then ran all by itself. Ken & Felicia have amazing chemistry and I simply followed them along, interacting naturally.
