Hello, I’m Julia, German wedding photographer from the North Sea coast with a heart full of wanderlust. I have a deep passion for using my camera to capture both the beauty and emotions of special moments. My goal is to capture the genuine connections and unique stories that each couple brings to their love story and thus helping to preserve the memories of their wedding for generations – through documentary style wedding photo shots from the bride getting ready to the wild party, as well as through stunning couple shootings at spectacular locations around the globe.
I’ve earned a degree in photojournalism and have been shooting professionally since 2013, and I also work with respected magazines and companies for editorial and commercial photography assignments. Steps & FAQ
Good communication and preparation are the be-all and end-all for a successful project and especially for such an important event in your life. In a meet and greet (either in person or via video call) we first clarify your individual wishes and ideas. Do you already have an idea of what you want in terms of motifs and duration of use or number of motifs? Or do you need personal advice on your wedding or wedding photo shoot in Germany first? Either way, we will first clarify everything else in a relaxed conversation.
Depending on the package you choose, I will accompany you with my camera on location in Germany or abroad, either from the getting ready to the exuberant party, or during the preferred sections (time window) of your wedding or photo a couple shoot.
I am always with you and your guests with calm, empathy and serenity – unobtrusive and attentive.
Within a few days I will send you a small SneakPeek selection of the highlights and after about 2-3 weeks you will receive your edited image selection as a digital download and online gallery.
If you wish, I can also create a photo album for you.
For weddings during the high season (April to September), you should book your German wedding photographer well in advance – ideally at least 12 months. The sooner the better…
My spectrum as a wedding photographer includes authentic and aesthetic documentary style wedding photograpy, i.e. photojournalistic shoots, e.g. from getting ready to the ceremony or right to the end, including the civil and/or church wedding; Couple shootings at your desired location and guest group portraits, which are often shot directly after the ceremony.
You can also book pure couple and engagement shoots, be it in Hannover, all over Germany, or at exotic locations abroad.
It’s the evening of your wedding and the party is only getting started – while we’re nearing the end of your booked package. You realize that you would like me to shoot longer than originally planned? No problem! Your package can almost always be extended without any problems :)
GERMANY:
As a wedding photographer based in Hannover, Germany, I often work in and am very familiar with locations in Hamburg, Lower Saxony and Northern Germany, e.g. also in Brunswick (Braunschweig), Göttingen, Wolfsburg, the surrounding local recreation areas of Lüneburg Heath, the Harz & Weserbergland, on the coast in East Frisia, Bremen, Oldenburg, Hamburg, etc. All of these regions make great locations for stunning photo shoots in nature as well as in historical old towns etc.
I generally photograph throughout Germany and far beyond.
