Dream Pre Wedding Beach Photo Shoot in Port Dickson, Malaysia
Recently I had the great pleasure of photographing Felicia and Ken for their tropical pre-wedding shoot.
The couple had chosen a destination wedding photography classic in Southeast Asia – a tropical beach near Port Dickson in Malaysia with sandy beaches, palm trees and rugged cliffs.
We set off from Kuala Lumpur to the coastal town on a Saturday in very changeable weather – and were very lucky, because we arrived just in time for the most beautiful sunset, a bright sky and a dreamlike picture-book backdrop waiting just for us.
None of us knew this specific location at this point, so we explored it in a very relaxed manner “on the go”. What can go wrong on a dream beach, with this sunset anyway…
We had arrived at low tide and the water level was slowly, but noticeably rising. At the end of the shoot, when the sun was just above the horizon, Felicia and Ken positioned themselves on a small rock in the water, almost seeming to float on the water’s surface. Thanks again to the bridal couple, who implemented all my ideas open-heartedly – and even went into the ocean with the dress, veil and all :)
